The right app for specialists and patients.

YourHealth was created with the aim of helping people interested in their mental health care find the most suitable expert for their needs and at the same time providing specialists with an easy, fast and intuitive tool to collaborate with each other and stay in contact with their patients.

First Idea

The first prototype of the app featured functions that allowed specialists to assign daily activities to their patients and to maintain direct communication thanks to a chat. In addition, users had the opportunity to evaluate the expert with whom they interacted.

Investigation

To get feedback on the first prototype, a sample of 31 psychologists was subjected to an evaluation questionnaire about the functions of the app. From the answers obtained, trends came to light. The developers grouped them into: Bad Features and Good Features

Final Idea

Based on the results obtained, the prototype was reworked by introducing new features:

Specialists are easier to contact.
Specialists can collaborate in a virtual center.
It is possible to find the most suitable specialist based on the patients’ needs.

User Story

Often those suffering from psychological problems have difficulties finding the most suitable specialist and it is possible that they rely on professionals specialized in fields not suitable to treat their problem.
